What is the Greenland Winter Jacket?

What is it made of?
A mixture of G1000® Eco, Supreme Microloft insulation and recycled polyester has been carefully selected by Fjallraven to create this jacket.
G1000® Eco uses a blend of 65% recycled polyester and 35% cotton, which is ventilating, hardwearing and weather resistant.
G1000® materials can be adapted to different personal preferences or climatic conditions using Greenland Wax. The wax allows you to customise the fabric's properties, such as wind and water resistance and breathability.

Supreme Microloft provides light insulation to the jacket without adding a lot of bulk or extra weight. Supreme Microloft is Fjallraven's own synthetic insulation, developed to offer warmth, even in damp conditions. It mimics down clusters by trapping warm air to retain heat and keep you warm for longer. However, unlike down, it can stay warm once moist, making it much more effective and reliable in damp conditions. Overall, this insulation is also more durable than down and much easier to clean and maintain, though slightly less packable.
The lining of the jacket is lightweight, durable polyester in a high pile fleece. It feels exceptionally warm and comfortable on the skin, allowing you to take that little bit of luxury away from home with you.
What are its features?
This jacket has a fixed, well fitted hood and a high collar at the front that acts as a chin guard, helping to keep rain or wind away from your face.
Double layers of fabric reinforce high wear points, including the shoulders and elbows, increasing durability from general wear or wearing a pack when you're out on the hill.
Fasten the front of the jacket using the two-way zipper. It has a buttoned flap over the top for extra weather resistance and security, allowing you to fully undo the zip for extra ventilation without having the jacket blow around in the wind.
For storage, there are two buttoned chest pockets, and two bellows pockets with button flaps and extra side openings - perfect for storing chunkier belongings such as a mobile phone, camera, gloves or a wallet. There's also an inside zippered pocket for smaller, more precious items such as house or car keys that provides a little more security.
To adapt the sleeve cuffs when wearing chunky gloves or mitts, press button adjustments are quick and easy to use. Finally, a drawcord adjustment at the hem allows you to cinch in the waist for added weather protection and heat retention.
