What is the Vardag Lite?
The Vardag is a simple yet hugely reliable insulated jacket for both light outdoor and everyday use. It'll work for winter walking but also for your daily commute to the office thanks to its understated looks and comfy fabrics.
What is it made of?
Insulation: It's insulated with 150g/sqm recycled polyester in the main body and 100g/sqm in the arms and hood. It's a pretty simple insulation — it's nice and toasty, works even if it gets wet and requires very little care. Ideal for a jacket that'll probably last decades!
Outer fabric: Surrounding this insulation is Fjallraven's own G-1000 Eco. This is an ultra-tough yet pliable mixture of recycled polyester and organic cotton. Thanks to the tight weave of the fabric, it's virtually windproof and comes pre-waxed for good water repellency. To add more water resistance, simply add more wax!
What are its features?
It features an adjustable hood with plenty of insulation to keep you warm when stationary, a two-way front zip with some high-quality brass poppers, two zipped chest pockets and one internal pocket for your phone, gloves and other small bits and bobs, two generously sized hand pockets, adjustable cuffs, a drawcord on the hem and Fjallraven's classic 1970's logo on the chest. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
