What is the L.I.M Down Hoodie?
Less is more with Haglofs' L.I.M range. This down hoodie is lightweight, insulative and packable, perfect for mountain adventures in changeable conditions. So, whether trekking for multiple days at a time, scrambling or trail running mid-winter, you'll feel warm, cosy and light as a feather all day long with this innovative piece.
What is it made of?
The shell of this jacket uses high quality Pertex® Quantum and is filled with RDS certified goose down for maximum warmth.
Insulation: Haglofs has filled the jacket with RDS certified, hydrophobic 800 fill power goose down. Goose down provides much more heat than duck down and has a higher fill power, boosting its warmth to weight ratio for optimum packability and lessening bulk. The hydrophobic treatment gives it a water resistant coating, enabling the insulation to stay dry for up to 10,000 minutes when exposed to wet conditions. Pretty impressive! However, if the forecast predicts heavy downpours, pack a waterproof shell for extra protection.
The RDS certification ensures that the down used in this garment has come from happy geese who have not been live plucked or mistreated.

Materials: The outer of the jacket is made of Pertex® Quantum, which uses a light woven structure made of incredibly fine yarns to allow insulation to loft fully. It provides windproof protection and is treated with a durable water repellent to add further weather resistance.
Haglofs has also added Climatic™ stretch fabric to enhance freedom of movement and comfort. It uses a double weave and has a soft backing that feels fantastic against the skin, should you be wearing a t-shirt underneath.
Materials on this jacket are bluesign® approved, meaning they are safe for the consumer, environment and workers involved in using them.
What are the features?
The L.I.M. Down Hoodie has a micro-nano offset baffle construction across the body, maximising warmth and preventing cold gaps from seams and stitching. Micro-nano baffles help prevent down migration and provide an even spread of heat without the bulk.
It has an adjustable hood that can adapt to fit different head shapes and sizes or layer over beanies and midlayers when temperatures plummet.
Elasticated cuffs help to retain heat while providing flexibility around the joints for technical moves.
There are two zippered hand pockets for secure storage, perfect for keeping hill snacks handy or possessions that you might need to grab quickly, like a mobile phone or GPS.
