What is the Tenacity XT Hoodie?
It's a super versatile and highly breathable softshell jacket designed for lightweight protection from the elements across the three seasons. It offers dependable performance during high-output mountain activities, mountain biking, hiking and back-country skiing. Despite its mountain intentions, it's also great for everyday casual use commuting, dog walking and running errands.
What is it made from?
The Tenacity XT is constructed from Montane's Granite Stretch Thermal fabric, made from 50% Nylon, 42% Polyester and 8% Elastane. This face fabric is abrasion resistant and tough enough to withstand the vigours of outdoor activities. Its four-way stretch provides lasting comfort and freedom of movement, whilst its excellent moisture management helps balance your body temperature as you work up a sweat.
The reinforcements to the chest pockets are made from a two-way stretch performance fabric called Vector lite, composed of woven Nylon and Elastane.
What are its features?
The hood is helmet compatible and fully adjustable, allowing you to adapt the fit around your helmet for maximum protection from the elements. A reinforced peak at the top of the hood helps keep wet weather away from the face by providing extra coverage.
The Tenacity XT uses durable YKK reverse coil zips throughout the jacket. At the front is a two-way zip that can be undone from the bottom up, allowing you to access a climbing harness underneath easily.
For storage, there is a single external reinforced chest pocket that offers a safe place for storing your phone and energy gels. Whilst two lower hand pockets provide space to store trail snacks, spare gloves and a GPS device.
The Tenacity XT is finished with adjustable cuffs for an optimised fit when wearing gloves and a drawcord adjuster to the bottom of the jacket, which allows you to cinch in the hem and prevent heat loss.

The Tenacity XT is a versatile softshell jacket primarily worn as an outer layer in dryer conditions. For wet weather adventures, we suggest layering it under a waterproof hardshell jacket for maximum protection against the elements.
