What is the Women's S/F Raven Anorak?
Fjallraven has teamed up with the legendary cycling brand Specialized to create a range of stylish, versatile products made by riders, for riders. The S/F Raven Anorak is a lightweight, wind and water-resistant pullover jacket perfect for unpredictable summer weather. This versatile jacket offers on-the-bike practicality with a casual everyday style, suitable for most activities in warmer climates, from bikepacking to hill walking to catching up with friends.
What is it made of?
The S/F Raven Anorak has a dual fabric construction, with lightly waxed G-1000 Lite fabric to block out wind and light rain. Four-way stretch panels to the lower torso and back provide an excellent range of movement and all-day comfort whilst riding.
Fjallraven's G-1000 fabric is hardwearing, wind and water-resistant and has been created for longevity. It's free from forever chemicals and uses Fluorocarbon-free impregnation for its weather resistance, helping reduce this product's environmental impact.
The G-1000 Lite panels can also be adapted with Greenland Wax to increase wind and water resistance. A unique balance of protection and breathability keeps you comfortable during various activities in various climates. The Greenland Wax allows you to easily play around and tailor this protection to suit your needs without hindering the product's breathability. It can even be washed out and re-applied for seasonal use.
What are its features?
This wind and water-resistant anorak has been optimised for biking and hiking in warmer climates. With a quick-drying and stretchy construction, it features articulated, engineered sleeves and elastic edging around the cuffs. This elastic keeps the material close to the skin to retain heat and also comes in handy when wearing gloves, layers or a watch, as the stretch stops them from feeling tight and uncomfortable.
Subtle reflective detailing to the cuffs increases visibility whilst riding in the evening. Two-way zipped openings on both sides provide quick and easy ventilation whilst riding, whilst the adjustable cinch at the bottom hem gives the option of added protection from the elements, should you need it.
For storage, there are a total of five pockets, two of which are chest pockets with easy snap buttons. Two lower zipped hand pockets provide security for your phone and other essentials, whilst the internal mesh pocket offers handy storage for your gloves when they aren't being used.
This stylish and practical anorak is finished with a stowable capsule hood with a drawcord adjuster to create the perfect snug fit over or under your cycling helmet.
