What is the Hydratic Trail Jacket?

What is it made of?
This jacket uses Fjallraven's own Hydratic 2.5 layer material, which provides superb waterproof protection for wet days on the hill or in the city. Hydratic comprises recycled polyester, lessening its impact on the planet, which has a PU membrane and PFC-free impregnation to enhance its waterproof properties. By using PFC-free methods, this product's environmental impact is cut down even further by eliminating the use of perfluorinated chemicals, aka, 'forever chemicals'.
Though waterproof, Hydratic is highly breathable and can wick away moisture from the inside layer efficiently, meaning you won't be left feeling clammy if you're getting a little sweaty.
What are its features?
This jacket has a high collar and, of course, a hood. The hood is adjustable, allowing you to cinch in dead space and retain warmth or to fit it over hoodies and chunky beanies during the winter.
If you're tackling a steep ascent or carrying heavy shopping home from the supermarket, the side openings will come in handy. Each side has a zipped opening which can be unfastened, allowing you to quickly dump some heat and draw in more airflow to help cool you down. Once your body temperature feels regulated, you can simply zip them back up.
The front is fastened using a two-way zipper with a double placket and a press button at the hem, offering additional ventilation options for humid summer days.
For storage, zippered hand pockets provide space for small essentials like keys, a wallet, doggy bags, gloves or snacks.
You can adjust the jacket with the drawcord adjustment at the hem and velcro adjusters on each cuff. The jacket is finished with subtle printed details on the side and reflective detailing around the wrists to give you extra visibility after hours.
