What is the Firefox Jacket?
This jacket is a lightweight, technical outer shell that provides waterproof and windproof protection, with additional detailing to enhance ventilation and comfort during high intensity activity.
What is it made of?
The Firefox jacket is made of a high tech Gore-Tex® Active fabric for optimised weather protection, with 100% Polyamide and an ePTFE membrane.
Gore-tex® Active – Extremely breathable and super lightweight, Gore-Tex® Active allows you to go fast and go high to reach the summit. This technology creates a windproof, waterproof layer for maximum protection without weighing you down.

This jacket's highly packable, super lightweight feel is a massive advantage for fastpackers and mountain runners looking for light-as-a-feather shell protection.
Breathable fabrics are essential for comfort during high intensity activity. They help wick away moisture to prevent that damp, heavy feeling on the skin. The Gore-Tex® Active fabric provides a completely weather resistant layer for bombproof defence against the elements whilst being highly breathable, helping regulate temperature as you work up a sweat.
The Mountain Hood is fully adjustable to allow users to keep the face and neck more shielded whilst keeping the top of the head nice and toasty. The hood can be rolled away to the back of the neck when not in use, preventing it from flapping around in the wind and being annoying!
The jacket has an active fit, meaning it sits a little tighter on the frame than a regular garment, allowing the fabric technology to work more efficiently. The fabric will wick away moisture when closer to the body, keeping the body's microclimate feeling balanced during high intensity activity.
Articulated, pre-shaped sleeves allow better freedom of movement around the arms and shoulders by providing extra fabric nearer to the joints, shaped to prevent restriction. The jacket's cuffs are adjustable for added security and flexibility around the wrists, with a laminated finish for reinforcement when wearing a Fitbit, watch or GPS.
Two large zip pockets are sitting on each side of the ribs. The pockets also provide ventilation when left open, as airflow can be drawn in to circulate inside the jacket. Underarm pit zips also offer additional ventilation that can be easily accessed when the garment is being worn. All the zips featured on this design are water repellent (WR) to help prevent rain from seeping through the fastenings when closed.
Dual tether hem drawcords allow the hem of the shell to be cinched in, creating a tighter silhouette and preventing heat from escaping through the bottom of the jacket.
