What is the Firefly Jacket?

What is it made of?
The Firefly Jacket is constructed using 3-layer Gore-Tex® Active fabric, 100% polyamide, with an ePTFE membrane.
Gore-tex® Active – Extremely breathable and super lightweight, Gore-Tex® Active allows you to go fast and go high to reach the summit. This technology creates a windproof, waterproof layer for maximum protection without weighing you down.
What are its features?
This jacket's highly packable, super lightweight feel is a massive advantage to fastpackers and mountain runners who are looking for that light-as-a-feather protection.
The Gore-Tex® Active fabric provides a completely weather resistant layer for bombproof defence against the elements. The Active material is highly breathable, which helps regulate temperature as you work up a sweat. Breathable fabrics are essential for comfort during high intensity activity as they help to wick away moisture to prevent that damp, heavy feeling on the skin.
There is an Elasticated Mountain Hood for a snug, flexible feel and extra protection for the head and neck - ideal for high altitudes battling against heavy gusts. There is a rear adjuster on the hood to cinch in the fit and wrap it around the head a little tighter to keep the breeze out, enhancing warmth and preventing radiant heat loss. When finished with the hood, roll it away and tuck it into the neck to stop it from flapping around in the wind.
The jacket has an active fit which means it sits a little tighter than a regular fit garment - this cut allows the fabric technology to work more efficiently. As the fabric will sit closer to the body, it will be able to wick away moisture better and keep the body's microclimate feeling balanced during high intensity activity.
Articulated, pre-shaped sleeves allow better freedom of movement around the arms and shoulders, by providing extra fabric nearer to the joints, shaped to prevent restriction. The jacket's cuffs are adjustable for added security and flexibility around the wrists.
A Napoleon-style pocket on the chest is fastened with a water repellent zip, perfect for securely storing keys, a phone or energy gels and keeping them dry.
The dual tether hem drawcord allows the user to pull in the hem to prevent cold wind from entering through the bottom of the jacket.
Even with all of this tech, the jacket can be easily scrunched down and stuffed away when the sun comes out.
