What is the Cape Wrath Jacket?
Good question! The Cape Wrath is a lightweight waterproof jacket made with Gore-Tex® Paclite. Though waterproof, it's breathable enough to suit various adventures on the hill and is incredibly packable for carrying in your backpack on multi-day pursuits.
What is it made of?
This jacket comprises 2.5-layer Gore-Tex® Paclite Plus, made from 75D recycled polyester. Paclite Plus offers complete waterproof protection with more breathability and packability than standard Gore-Tex® fabrics. It works much better for fast-paced, intense activities or lightweight adventures where you're counting every gram of kit.
What are its features?
A grown-on, fully adjustable hood with a wired peak provides ample protection and gives you plenty of room to fit a hoodie or beanie underneath.
The front zip has an external storm guard to prevent rain from seeping through the fastening.
Two zipped hand pockets offer plenty of room for essentials like snacks, a mobile phone or gloves - one of these pockets also converts into a stuffsack, making packing away and storing your jacket much easier when it's not in use!
Adjustable cuffs allow you to fit chunky gloves underneath, and last but not least, you can adjust the hem with a drawcord to enhance the fit and retain heat to promote temperature regulation.
