What is the Frenni Jacket?
The Sprayway Frenni is a durable, waterproof jacket designed for adventures both on the hill or in the mountains. It's the ideal all-round hiking jacket, providing excellent performance and weather protection with a functional feature set to accommodate various end-uses.
What is it made of?
The face fabric comprises recycled polyester, which offers a smooth, durable finish without excessive weight and bulk, enhancing comfort for layering.
A HydroDRY® three-layer construction keeps the rain at bay without compromising longevity or breathability, even in challenging, rugged environments. HydroDRY® is Sprayway's own proprietary membrane and makes a great alternative to Gore-Tex®, so don't be put off just because this jacket doesn't have that iconic diamond label!
What are its features?
This jacket comes with a grown-on hill hood that offers excellent mobility without restriction. It's fully adjustable, allowing you to get a precise fit every time, and has a stiffened, wired peak for reinforcement. When you're not wearing the hood, you can tuck it away using the roll-away tab to stop it from flapping around in the wind.
A centre front zipper provides easy access. The fastening has an external storm guard to help prevent weather from seeing through the fastening.
Two large zipped hand pockets, one water-resistant zipped chest pocket, and an inner mesh pocket provide ample organisation options for essentials such as snacks, energy gels, gloves, GPS devices or a mobile phone.
For ventilation, this jacket features two-way pit zips that allow you to dump some heat without the openings letting rain in when used.
Adjustable cuffs allow you to fit chunky gloves or a smartwatch underneath, whilst a drawcord-adjustable hem will enable you to cinch the bottom of the jacket to seal the weather out.
