What is the Crag 40 Backpack?
It's a do-it-all backpack designed for sport climbers, trad climbers and boulderers who want to keep their kit collection to the minimum and have one backpack that suits all activities and adventures. The Crag 40 combines features from the BD Stone Duffel and Creek packs to create one multi-functional storage solution you can use virtually anywhere.
What is it made of?
This pack comprises durable recycled materials to lessen environmental impact without compromising performance and longevity. It provides ample abrasion resistance for use in rugged environments and has a smooth finish, which doesn't only feel great but looks great, too!
What back system does it use?
The Crag 40 comes with a minimal back system that features a lightly padded back panel and shoulder straps. This design helps to cut down on weight, focusing on bare essentials, as the intention of the Crag 40 isn't walking for miles when wearing this backpack, but simply walking into your route, to the crag or the gym and getting straight on the wall.
What are its features?
A top-loading design and drawcord skirt closure provides quick and easy access to the main compartment. Alternatively, you can access your belongings using the full-length zip entry point if you want to avoid opening the bag from the top, which is ideal for wet days out or when you can't find those little pieces of gear hiding away at the bottom.
An external front zipped pocket and additional internal pocket provide organisation for smaller essentials, like finger tape, brushes, maps and guidebooks.
The top flap of the bag not only provides extra weather protection to the main entry but also acts as a rope strap, allowing you to conveniently strap your climbing rope to the top instead of taking up precious room inside.
