What is the Tupilak 30+?
It's a lightweight backpack with 30 litres of storage designed for fast-paced, intense mountain activity. The Tupilak is made of durable materials and versatile enough to suit a variety of activities, including hiking, alpinism and climbing.
What is it made of?
This backpack is made of a mixture of PACT™ 300 and 100 fabrics. PACT™ offers fantastic durability for its weight and is robust enough to withstand regular use in mountain terrain. The material is also water resistant, making it perfect for the unpredictable UK weather. However, please be aware that this doesn't mean it's fully waterproof.
Which backsystem does it use?
The Tupilak 30+ is built with a high-density EVA back panel that offers plenty of support and protects your back from getting jabbed by items inside. Shoulder straps are comfy and relatively slim to keep the weight down without compromising comfort. The hipbelt, made of 38mm webbing, has removable hip fins that allow you to strip everything down to a minimum.
What are its features?
All components of the Tupilak 30+ are removable, allowing you to adapt the design to suit your activity.
At the top, a drawcord closure gives easy access to the main compartment and is combined with a roll-top inner cowl to increase weather protection around the entry point.
An internal 'floating' accessory pocket helps you separate smaller items and organise your belongings. The pocket can be accessed from the inside or the outside, making it perfect for essentials you want to keep handy.
For climbing, the pack has a removable rope strap that is secured with an aluminium Grappler™ buckle, dual axe toggles and attachment points for side compression straps, should you need them.
Haul loops, a daisy chain system and a shock cord system provide extra versatility and external storage - you can attach various accessory carabiners, bottles and climbing helmets to save precious space inside.
