What is the Singi 20?
The Singi 20 is the smallest pack in the Singi backpack series. It's a versatile, hardwearing daypack that offers plenty of storage options and comfort, perfect for done-in-a-day activities like hill walking, hiking or even commuting to work.
What is it made of?
This pack is made of Fjallraven's very own G1000® HeavyDuty Eco S.
G1000® Heavy Duty Eco S goes one step further than the original G1000® material. It's made from a mixture of recycled polyester and organic cotton, impregnated with Greenland Wax on both sides. It takes durability to a whole new level, making this suitable for use in rugged, mountain terrain where it's more likely to get a beating. The Eco S version is lighter than the regular G1000® Heavy Duty, due to its finer weave, making it much more smooth to touch without compromising functionality.
G1000® materials can be adapted to different personal preferences or climatic conditions using Greenland Wax. The wax allows you to customise the fabric's properties, such as wind and water resistance and breathability.
Greenland Wax is easy to apply - you can literally do it anywhere! If you'd like to learn more about how to apply it correctly, check out our short YouTube tutorial by clicking here.
What are its features?
This pack has an easy-to-use zippered top loader that gives you quick access to the main compartment. There are two pockets at the top of the bag, one of which is built-in to the top loader, perfect for storing small essentials. Inside the main compartment is an elastic sleeve that will hold most 15 inch laptops, keeping them secure and in place when you're on the move.
You can fasten other belongings to various attachments on the pack's exterior if you need to access them quickly or don't have room inside. Simply hook items like a GPS, radio or binoculars to either the daisy chain webbing, elastic on the front of the bag or the gear loops on the shoulder straps.
Personalise the pack further by adding the Singi Side Pocket or Singi Gear Holder from Fjallraven. Both would provide you with extra storage room for longer days on the hill or specific activities requiring more kit.
Overall, the pack feels super comfy to carry, even when using walking poles or maybe having to do a bit of light scrambling to reach the summit, thanks to their low-profile shoulder straps that don't dig in as you move your arms.
