What is the Black Hole® Pack 32L?
It's a durable, long-lasting backpack with 32 litres of space to accommodate everyday essentials like laptops, lunch, water bottles and extra layers. The Black Hole® Pack is perfect for everyday errands, urban adventures and travelling.
What is it made of?
The body of this backpack comprises a 300D 100% postconsumer recycled polyester ripstop fabric with a postindustrial recycled TPU-film laminate. Due to its high density and laminate reinforcement, this material is incredibly durable and sure to last for years, if not decades, of regular wear.
The pack is lined with 200D 100% recycled polyester with a PU coating, which is smooth yet strong enough to withstand abrasion from objects within the bag, helping to prevent the formation of holes inside.
This product is made in a Fair Trade Factory™, giving Patagonia more control of the operations in the factories they choose to work with. Patagonia proudly offers more Fair Trade styles than any other apparel brand in the current market. But how does it work? Patagonia pays a premium for every item made in one of these factories, and this money goes directly to the factory workers. A democratically elected committee of Fair Trade workers will decide how this extra money gets spent in each Fair Trade factory. The program also promotes worker health and safety, and social and environmental compliance, while encouraging healthier dialogue between workers and management.
What backsystem does it use?
Due to its casual nature, the Black Hole® Backpack uses a minimal backsystem that prioritises comfort and functionality for everyday use. Therefore, it uses a breathable Airmesh backpanel, which delivers comfort and ventilation, with simple, padded shoulder straps.
What are its features?
A roomy, zipped main compartment provides easy access and ample space for your essentials. Inside, you'll find an interior zipped mesh pocket for small valuables like keys or a mobile phone and large front and top stash pockets for bulkier items.
This backpack also has a padded laptop compartment that will fit most 15" laptops and is easily accessible thanks to the sneaky side-zip opening.
The handle on the back panel acts as a pass-through, allowing you to stack this pack on rolling luggage when travelling—ideal when heading on holiday with the family!
Stretchy woven side pockets accommodate various water bottles and also work well for keeping guidebooks within reach. If you're seeking a little extra storage, this pack also has daisy chain attachment points and a top-mounted, reinforced haul handle for easy in-hand carry.
