What is the Ducan 26L?
The Ducan 26L is a lightweight, functional outdoor backpack that works perfectly for hiking, fastpacking, scrambling, and general adventures on the hill. It provides ample storage and organisation; the women's version is adapted to fit the female anatomy more precisely.
What is it made of?
This backpack is made with a blend of 90% polyamide and 10% polyester, which is smooth, durable and relatively lightweight, making it perfect for hiking and trekking in rugged environments.
Materials are finished with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) for extra weather resistance.
Perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) used in earlier DWRs can't 'break down', so once they reach nature (usually via water waste from factories), they stay in the environment and contaminate living organisms, working their way up the food chain. PFC's are suspected carcinogens and have been known to affect reproduction and hormone production in mammals. For these reasons, many brands are now using PFC-free alternatives to reduce the impact manufacturing has on our beautiful planet.
The product is also bluesign® approved, meaning it's manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers and consumers. bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.

What backsystem does it use?
The Ducan uses a reworked, ventilated back system to deliver maximum airflow where it's needed most, helping prevent sweat build-up when working hard.
The anatomically shaped shoulder straps and hip belt deliver premium comfort, while the strategic padding for a barely-there feel still protects your back from the contents inside the pack.
An elasticated chest strap helps to reduce bounce without feeling restrictive or uncomfortable.
What are its features?
The Ducan 26L offers plenty of storage options. A fold-out cellphone pocket and zipped pocket on the hip belt are ideal for keeping small valuables close. The quick-access front mesh pocket is perfect for stowing waterproof jackets and extra layers, keeping them within reach. The side water bottle pockets are pretty self-explanatory. If you prefer hydration bladders, you're in luck, as this pack is water-reservoir compatible for hands-free sipping.
Pole fixation on the front and sides accommodate hiking poles when not in use, keeping them out of your way.
The integrated, detachable rain cover provides additional protection for your back when the rain sets in.
