What is the Abisko Hip Pack 6?
It's a versatile and functional hip pack that offers 6-litres of storage for your trail essentials. Designed for various fast-paced outdoor activities such as trail running, mountain biking and bikepacking, it's a fantastic alternative to a backpack when you don't want to be weighed down by gear.
What is it made from?
The Abisko Hip Pack is built from a highly durable 210D ripstop fabric, made from 100% recycled nylon. The material features a PU coating that gives the pack a hydrostatic head rating of 1,500mm, allowing it to shed light rain and puddle splashes. However, please note that this doesn't make the pack waterproof.
Though made from recycled materials, this pack doesn't skimp on quality and is thick enough to endure bumps and scrapes from regular use without looking shabby over time. The lining and webbing straps are also made from 100% recycled materials to add to this bag’s eco-friendly credentials.
What are its features?
This functional hip pack features a seamless back panel with ventilating soft foam for comfort, even whilst working hard. The waistband features pull-forward adjustments on the hip belt to help you achieve the perfect fit easily when swapping between bulky layers.
For storage, there is a large main compartment with several organisational pockets inside for trail snacks, lip balm and a mobile phone. There's also a key hook to ensure they are always close to hand.
A smaller zippered compartment provides space for energy gels, ear pods or smaller items you don't want to hunt for in the main pocket. Two stretch bottle pockets offer easy access storage for water bottles, which can be secured in place by elastic hoops to reduce movement when you're pushing the pace.
Compression straps help cinch in any dead space to prevent your gear from rolling around while you enjoy your adventure. An elastic cord to the front allows you to attach extra gear to the pack, such as a waterproof shell jacket, when not in use.
The hip pack is finished with a convenient carry handle at the top and reflective detailing to help increase your visibility to other road users in low light.
