What is the High Coast Duffel 22?
It's the newest addition to Fjallraven's High Coast collection. This lightweight and versatile duffel bag can easily convert into a backpack for practical, hands-free travel. Highly durable, water-resistant and stylish, it's the perfect travelling companion for shorter trips away, whether for work or pleasure.
What is it made from?
Outer: The majority of the High Coast Duffel is made from super tough yet highly packable 210D recycled nylon. It's highly abrasion-resistant, allowing this bag to withstand the rigour of travel over many years. Recycled nylon has a reduced environmental footprint and is a more eco-conscious choice than virgin nylon, yet it's still as tough and long-lasting. This durable face fabric is coated in PU with a hydrostatic head rating of 10,000mm to protect your belongings if caught in an unexpected downpour. However, please note that this duffel does not have a fully waterproof construction (taped seams and a waterproof zip), meaning the bag is not technically waterproof. But it is very highly water-resistant, allowing it to shed light rain and puddle splashes whilst travelling.
Base: The base is made from the same super tough 210D ripstop nylon. It features a PU membrane with a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm to keep your gear dry when placed on damp ground.
Lining: The High Coast Duffel is lined with a robust recycled Nylon lining to withstand the rigours of years of use while helping to reduce this bag's environmental impact.
What are its features?
The High Coast Duffel Bag can be carried as a classic duffel bag, on the shoulder for quick trips or transformed into a backpack for longer journeys and situations when you need your hands free.
It features durable webbing straps that can convert into backpack straps by quickly repositioning them to the attachment points at end of the bag.
This versatile duffel bag features a clamshell opening, allowing you to see all your gear at a glance and grab the bits you need to access on the go. For organisation, there's an external zipped pocket for easy access items such as snacks, passports, earphones, etc, and two internal zipped pockets to separate smaller travel essentials such as charging cables, power banks and toiletries.
