What is the Wheeled Transporter 60?
It's a 60-litre wheeled duffel bag that provides optimum organisation and functionality in one durable package. The Wheeled Transporter is ideal for weekends away, city breaks, business travels, and general holidays.
What is it made of?
The main body and base are constructed using high-tenacity nylon with a NanoTough coating, which is incredibly strong and abrasion-resistant, so this bag can easily withstand being thrown around at the airport. The fabric composition of the main body material also includes ripstop, enhancing longevity even further.
The lining comprises 210D nylon, which is much lighter yet remarkably robust. This material has a smooth finish to ensure further protection for the contents inside.
All materials are 100% recycled, keeping resources in the loop instead of allowing them to go to waste, and bluesign® approved.
bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.
All materials are also treated with a PFAS-free DWR (durable water repellent) to enhance weather protection by encouraging light rain and snow to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. However, please note that this doesn't make the bag waterproof.
PFAS-free treatments avoid the use of harmful 'forever' chemicals. PFAS is a toxic chemical known to harm humans and the environment. It was previously commonly used in DWR treatments; however, many outdoor companies are now working to eliminate these chemicals from their production lines to contribute to a more responsible manufacturing process.
What are its features?
An updated 14" HighRoad chassis with a tubular aluminium extendible handle and patented buttonless trolley grip offer a sturdy and reliable frame without being excessively weighty.
110mm sealed-bearing wheels roll easily over difficult surfaces like bumpy pavements and cobbled streets. Tuckaway tow straps allow multiple bags to be strapped together in a train for easier rolling, making navigating the airport or between destinations easier.
There are also four padded webbing handles, plus a moulded bottom foot/handle for easy manoeuvring.
Six additional lash points allow you to securely attach this bag to a roof rack or pack animal for transport.
The expansive main compartment has a large access point, making it easier to pack. Inside, there is an additional large zipped mesh pocket for organisation and two internal compression straps to secure the load.
Ten zippers, with lockable sliders and rain flaps, help keep your belongings safely sealed inside and prevent water from seeping in. Lastly, an ID window allows you to attach your details so that your bag can be safely returned to you if it gets lost when travelling.
