What is the Transporter 40?
It's a durable, 40-litre duffel bag with a versatile design that can be used regularly, whether heading to the gym, commuting to work, or travelling.
What is it made of?
The main body and base are constructed using high-tenacity nylon with ripstop and a NanoTough coating, which is incredibly strong and abrasion-resistant, so it can withstand being thrown around at the airport when travelling.
The lining comprises 210D nylon, which is much lighter yet incredibly robust. This material has a smooth finish to ensure further protection for the contents inside.
All materials are 100% recycled, keeping resources in the loop instead of allowing them to go to waste, and bluesign® approved.
bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.
All materials are also treated with a PFAS-free DWR (durable water repellent) to enhance weather protection by encouraging light rain and snow to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. However, please note that this doesn't make the bag waterproof.
PFAS-free treatments avoid the use of harmful 'forever' chemicals. PFAS is a toxic chemical known to harm humans and the environment. It was previously commonly used in DWR treatments; however, many outdoor companies are now working to eliminate these chemicals from their production lines to contribute to a more responsible manufacturing process.
What are the features?
This duffel bag features a large, lockable U-zip entry point in the main compartment, allowing you to see all its contents easily. The zip-path is weather-resistant and features an overlapping rain flap to provide extra protection from wet weather.
Four robust webbing grab handles allow you to grab and go if you're in a hurry. The straps also double up as backpack harness straps, meaning you can carry this bag hands-free if you have other luggage to haul around.
For extra storage, this bag comes with eight webbing lash points for securing extra items or duffels, an internal zipped mesh pocket, and a zipped end pocket for quick access to small essentials such as a passport, wallet, or headphones.
