What is the Transporter Gear Tote 28?
The Transporter Gear Tote is a 28-litre tote bag designed for transporting gear and essentials. You can use it when travelling, on expedition, commuting, or grocery shopping! It's made with incredibly durable materials and a versatile design that is handy for all lifestyles.
What is it made of?
The main body and base are constructed using high-tenacity nylon with ripstop and a NanoTough coating, which is incredibly strong and abrasion-resistant, so it can withstand being thrown around at the airport when travelling.
The lining comprises 210D nylon, which is much lighter yet incredibly robust. This material has a smooth finish to ensure further protection for the contents inside.
All materials are 100% recycled, keeping resources in the loop instead of allowing them to go to waste, and bluesign® approved.
bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.
All materials are also treated with a PFAS-free DWR (durable water repellent) to enhance weather protection by encouraging light rain and snow to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. However, please note that this doesn't make the bag waterproof.
PFAS-free treatments avoid the use of harmful 'forever' chemicals. PFAS is a toxic chemical known to harm humans and the environment. It was previously commonly used in DWR treatments; however, many outdoor companies are now working to eliminate these chemicals from their production lines to contribute to a more responsible manufacturing process.
What are the features?
This tote bag features a spacious main compartment with a mesh pocket and a large zipped front pocket that perfectly separates essentials like passports, wallets, or a book for your journey.
Exterior lash loops also allow you to attach extra gear to the outside, like helmets, harnesses, water bottles, or additional layers.
Two padded webbing handles allow you to carry the bag over your shoulder or by hand.
The 28L version also comes with a trolley/cooler handle pass-through, allowing you to hook it onto wheeled luggage and trollies for hands (or shoulder) free carry.
