It Maintains the same durability and organisation as its predecessor but is lighter, stronger and even better suited for adventurous micro-trips.
What is it made of?
The main shell is 100% recycled 840D TPU-coated nylon. The TPU, or Thermoplastic Polyurethane, coating adds several beneficial properties to the nylon. It enhances the fabric's durability, making it resistant to abrasions, tears, and punctures. Additionally, the TPU coating provides excellent water resistance, ensuring that your belongings stay drier even in damp conditions.
The secondary shell of the Allpa 28L is made from 100% recycled 840D ballistic ripstop nylon. Ballistic nylon differs from standard nylon due to its unique construction and properties.
Initially developed for military use, ballistic nylon is woven in a tight, dense pattern that enhances strength and durability. This material is designed to resist wear and tear much better than basic nylon, making it tough and long-lasting.
These 100% recycled materials are sourced from pre-consumer waste, such as factory scraps, and post-consumer products, like discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, and plastic bottles. These waste materials undergo a meticulous recycling process involving cleaning, shredding, and reformation into new fibres.
By choosing recycled materials, Cotopaxi reduces waste and the demand for new raw materials, conserves resources, and minimises environmental impact.

Inside, the pack features a well-organised pocket configuration: a large pocket for bulkier items, a medium pocket for mid-sized essentials, and a small pocket for smaller accessories, ensuring everything has its place.
The Allpa 28L is equipped with a padded, low-profile harness so that you’re comfortable when the pack is fully loaded. Contoured shoulder straps, a flexible airmesh back panel, an adjustable chest strap, and a lightweight nylon hip belt are additional comfort boosters.
