What is the Sirrus 24?
The Sirrus 24 is a fully ventilated backpack with supportive AirSpeed™ backsystem technology, explicitly designed and measured to fit women's frames. Made with tough recycled nylon, this backpack is built to serve in rugged terrain, ideal for long hikes in the hills or rocky mountains.
What is it made from?
Osprey has constructed the pack with 210D Recycled Nylon Honey Comb, which is tough enough to endure the bumps and scrapes of an active lifestyle. The recycled materials are GRS-certified and Bluesign® approved, making them a more sustainable choice to support your travels.
What backsystem does it use?
The backsystem is where the magic happens! Inspired by their brilliant AntiGravity™ technology, Osprey has created a seamless construction across the backpanel and hip-belt, using highly breathable suspended mesh to create the AirSpeed™ Ventilated Trampoline Suspended back system. The system consists of four main components:
AIRSPEED™ SUSPENSION – LightWire™ alloy frame creates low profile air space, optimising pack balance and ventilation. Effectively transfers weight from shoulders to the hips.
AIRSPEED™ SUSPENSION BACKPANEL - 3D-tensioned breathable mesh backpanel ensures supportive fit and enhances airflow and ventilation.
SPACERMESH SHOULDER HARNESS - Sewn-in SpacerMesh is constructed of mesh-covered, ventilated die-cut foam to enhance breathability and comfort. The shoulder harness is designed with multiple torso size options and features Velcro adjustability.
SPACERMESH SEWN-IN HIPBELT – Featuring zippered stretch mesh pockets and Ergo Pull closures, the connection to the backpanel mesh eliminates seams, creating a smooth and comfortable lumbar to the hipbelt body wrap.

The specialised AirSpeed™ backsystem offers ventilation and breathability to help reduce that warm, sticky feeling underneath your pack. The backsystem is also adjustable to maximise comfort, using a shoulder harness and sewn-in hipbelt to fit the bag perfectly to the body. By customising the fit of this support system, the weight is evenly distributed, allowing the load to feel lighter and easier to carry.
Zippered panel access and multiple external access zippered pockets keep belongings secure whilst providing an easy way to enter each compartment, including a vertical zip on the front pocket for quick access.
If you're a fan of walking poles, then the Stow-on-the-Go™ walking pole attachment could be the highlight feature for you. This attachment allows you to store your poles easily, giving you one less thing to carry when you don't need them. Dual zippered hipbelt pockets are great for items you want to keep on hand, such as your phone, GPS, or snacks, of course. These pockets allow you to access these items without taking the whole pack off - an efficient, time-saving detail.
The integrated and detachable raincover will protect the load, alongside the PFC/PFAS free DWR coating, which acts as a dirt and water repellent barrier.
