What is the Tupilak Vest?
The Tupilak 20 Vest is a 20-litre backpack with a running vest-style harness, which delivers ample comfort for long, fast-paced mountain days, enchainments and lightweight overnight stays, no matter the conditions or season.
What is it made of?
This running vest is made of a mixture of PACT™ 300 and 100 fabrics. PACT™ offers fantastic durability for its weight and is robust enough to withstand regular use in mountain terrain. The material is also water resistant, making it perfect for the unpredictable UK weather. However, please be aware that this doesn't mean it's fully waterproof.
What are its features?
As mentioned, the Tupilak has a 20-litre capacity, making plenty of room for extra layers, snacks, water, etc.
The drawcord closure has an integrated Cohesive cord lock and a durable aluminium Grappler™ buckle to keep it secure and well-protected from the elements. This buckle also allows easy access to the main compartment when you're in a hurry, minimising stop time.
Like a standard running vest, it has a full harness that sits across the front and back, with a zipped phone pocket and mesh pockets for smaller essentials. A zipped internal pocket and large front stash pocket allow you to organise particular belongings. Plus, the side zip gives you quick access to the main compartment without having to faff around and remove the pack altogether.
There's an external sleeve for carrying hiking poles when not in use, alongside dual axe retainers and an integrated pick pocket, making this vest versatile enough for hiking, scrambling and climbing in various terrain.
Finally, the compression wing system helps to stabilise the load, ensuring it doesn't bounce around too much when you're moving fast, keeping you comfy, stable and supported throughout your session.
