What is the Cross 8?
The Cross 8 is an eight litre running vest that makes a great alternative to a backpack for fast-paced, lightweight adventures. Its versatile design suits trail running, marathon training, fast hiking, biking, or even dog walking!
What is it made of?
This vest comprises a polyamide, elastane blend that is lightweight and breathable yet incredibly durable to resist wear from regular use. The flexible nature of the material enhances freedom of movement and feels smooth against the skin.
What are its features?
A padded back panel helps prevent contents inside the main compartment from digging in.
You can access the main compartment with the large U-zip opening.
This running vest can accommodate a 1.5L hydration reservoir alongside two 500ml soft flasks for hydration. To fit your reservoir, you can use the specialised compartment and the hanging strap to hold it in place. Once fitted, you can slide the reservoir tube through the allocated hole for hands-free sipping. Salomon has specially designed the soft flask pockets to be within reach at all times whilst eliminating bounce so you can focus on your performance.
Double, adjustable sternum straps help to manage the load.
An exterior daisy-chain system and an additional reflective loop to hold a lamp provide further storage.
If you're in a hurry, a grab handle at the top allows you to pick the vest up and move straight off.
