What is the Circle Back Sleeping Pad?
The Circle Back Pad is a quality sleeping mat for casual camping trips, multi-day backpacking adventures, and car camping all year round. The Circle Back Pad is designed with responsibility in mind and can be recycled into something new at the end of its life, making it an ideal choice for more eco-conscious adventurers.
What is it made of?
The pad cover is constructed using recycled polyester ripstop, which is light yet durable and, being recycled, has a lesser impact on the environment. Furthermore, the cover is made with 100% polyester.
The pad itself is constructed with TPU, once again providing exceptional durability for regular use without feeling excessively heavy or bulky.
A layer of heat-reflective film helps to utilise body heat by reflecting it back to the body instead of sending it down into the cold ground. This amplifies the warmth of the sleeping pad tenfold, further enhanced by the FireLine™ Eco synthetic insulation. Synthetic insulation is incredibly warm and more efficient when conditions are less than ideal, as it can retain heat when wet, making it a reliable option for adventures in autumn and shoulder seasons.
What are its features?
One of the highlights of this sleeping mat is the circular design. At the end of your mat's life, you can contact Big Agnes and arrange for it to be recycled and turned into something new, rescuing it from landfill!
Though a more eco-conscious choice, this sleeping pad still prioritises comfort. The insulated pad construction features a quilted cover that helps to reduce noise and increase comfort, so you can get a peaceful night's kip wherever you pitch up. This cover can also be removed and washed, making the mat much easier to care for and helping it to last even longer!
An offset welded construction helps to increase heat efficiency by eliminating cold gaps within the design. However, Big Agnes recommends adding a closed cell foam pad underneath for extra protection when sleeping on frozen ground or snow.
The soft TPU bladder conforms to your body as you lay on the mat, and larger outer chambers keep you comfortably cradled in the middle; perfect for wriggly sleepers who have a higher chance of falling off the mat in the middle of the night!
The Circle Back Mat comes with 3M repair patches in case an emergency strikes and a pad inflation sack that makes inflating the mat quick and easy.
