What is the Versa 4R?

What is it made of?
Materials: The outer material of this camping mattress is recycled polyester, which is lightweight yet durable enough to survive years of abuse. It's Oeko-Tex® 100 certified, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances to provide confidence and safety for the product.
Insulation: Texpedloft Microfibre keeps you warm and provides an R-Value of 3.7 to keep you protected down to -10°C, making the mat suitable for adventures in every season. This insulation is bluesign® approved. bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy. Combined with the Oeko-Tex® standard, this makes for some great eco-friendly credentials!
To top it off, Exped works hard to measure, reduce and fully offset CO2 from the manufacturing and shipping of this product.

Exped pioneers the flat valve to provide industry-leading durability, reliability and an intuitive performance for quick and easy set-up.
A Comfort Cradle construction helps to keep you in the centre of the mat using strategic air chamber construction, emphasising the outer chambers to act like side rails to prevent you from rolling off.
The construction utilises Exped's signature SynMat Technology™, which features the Texpedloft insulation welded to the top and the bottom of the internal air chambers to optimise heat retention over the mat's lifetime. Each chamber runs from head to toe to provide an even, 7cm thick air cushion for maximum comfort and support, helping you to catch those well-needed z's after a long day.
An integrated pump also makes for quick and easy self-inflation, so you don't have to waste all that precious oxygen on setting up your bed for the night! You also get a repair kit included in case of emergencies, and the whole mat packs down into its own packsack for easy transport.
The LW version comes with a larger, wider fit for taller users and fidgety sleepers who require a little extra wiggle room!
