What is the Mesh Inner Tent Lite-Shape 2?
It's a highly breathable mesh tent with a durable waterproof base, made to be used with Fjallraven's Abisko Lite 2 or Abisko Shape 2 tents. However, it can just as easily be pitched alone or under a tarp to keep you cool when camping in warm, humid conditions.
What is it made from?
The mesh sides of the tent are made from 20 denier polyester No-see-um mesh that offers fantastic ventilation while also keeping even the smallest of insects out. Being made from polyester, it offers an ideal balance of weight and durability.
The tent's floor is made from 100% polyamide (nylon) with a PU coating to provide a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm. The nylon material is 70 denier to offer an optimum balance of durability and weight. It's surprisingly tough, allowing it to withstand abrasion against rocks and stop moisture from damp ground from seeping into the tent's base.

An inner tent offers fantastic ventilation when camping in warm, humid conditions. The super fine No-see-um mesh allows you to feel the cool evening breeze whilst still being protected from unwelcome insects.
This versatile mesh tent can be pitched alone (pole kit required) if there is no chance of rain, pitched under a tarp for additional shelter in warm climates, or used together with the Abisko Lite 2 and Abisko Shape 2 tents.
Please note: This inner tent does not come with its own pole kit. It can be pitched with the poles from the Abisko Lite 2 Pole Kit or Abisko Shape 2 tents, or separate pole kits are available to purchase separately should you wish to pitch it alone and only have the mesh inner.
