What is it made of?
The Oasis Long Sleeve Crewe represents quality and superior performance. The 200g/m² pure merino jersey-knit fabric has a smooth next to skin feel that is non-itchy for unparalleled comfort. Icebreaker is one of only a few companies in the world that use the best quality, superfine merino fibres in their garments. When you are warm the wool transports moisture away from the skin and the evaporation of this moisture helps to cool you down; however, the merino fibres also contain millions of tiny air pockets that retain body heat to maintain your body temperature when the weather turns cold.
Merino wool is naturally odour resistant because bacteria find it hard to hold onto the surface of the merino fibres, therefore it can't sit and multiply to create bad smells. This top is great on multi-day trips as you don't have to pack as many clothes; this is due to the fact that you can wear them for quite a few of days at a time without them getting smelly. Great for active use or everyday wearing.
How does it fit?
The Oasis a 'slim' fit which means they're designed to sit snug to your body, without being restrictive. This is so it can both trap warm when the temperatures drop, but also wick sweat away from your body when you're working hard. The design features underarm gussets and set-in sleeves for added mobility, and offset shoulder seams and flatlock stitching throughout prevent chafing across the spectrum of daily motion.
