Exemptions
PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc. ), Food Goods, Accessory Cord, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What is the Lumiko?

The Lumiko is a lightweight, stretchy, ultra-breathable fleece designed for moving fast in mountainous environments. Use it for climbing, mountaineering, trekking or just as a nice everyday fleece to wear to the pub.

What is it made of?

It's made using Mountain Equipment's own Lumiko fabric (hence the name!). This is a Bluesign-approved fabric made from 93% recycled polyester and 7% elastane, making it as environmentally responsible as it is high performing.

What are its features?

It features coverstitched seams throughout to make it super comfortable next to skin, a 1/2 length front zip for ventilation and a zipped chest pocket for your phone, keys or snacks. The cuffs have been designed with minimal bulk to fit nicely under gloves.

How does it fit?

It features an 'active' fit, so expect it to fit pretty snugly to maximise warmth and performance. The stretchy fabric means it'll never feel restrictive, though.

Where does it fit in the layering system?

It's designed primarily as a midlayer, but it can be worn as an outer layer if the weather is on your side and you're moving particularly quickly.
