90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

Exemptions
PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc. ), Food Goods, Accessory Cord, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What is the Alpha Flash Jacket?

The Alpha Flash is a highly breathable, lightweight, packable jacket that has been specifically designed for active use in the mountains. It combines Polartec Alpha and panelled Thermic fleece to give you the perfect warm layer for moving fast in the mountains.

What is it made of?

The Alpha Flash combines two different types of fleece fabric to perfectly balance warmth, packability and breathability. The main ‘fluffy’ fabric in the body of the jacket is Polartec Alpha. The fluffy looking design is not just for show; it helps to trap warm air around your body whilst also allowing moisture and sweat to escape. On the sides and under the arms of the jacket the Alpha Flash uses a Thermic Fleece Fabric - not only does Thermic keep you warm but it is also made from 100% recycled Polyester!

One thing you may find with moving fast in the mountains is that you sweat! The Alpha Flash jacket is treated with a Polygiene Stays Fresh Technology to help combat sweaty odours.

What are the features?

The Alpha Flash features a nice high fleecy collar to help protect your neck from col winds. The YKK Vislon front zip has an internal zip flap and a chin guard for comfort. The YKK zipped chest pocket is a great place to stash your phone or compass and the half hem drawcord and low bulk cuffs helps to further seal out the elements.

How does it fit?

The Jacket uses Rabs slim Fit. This sits a bit closer than Rabs ‘Regular Fit’ cus it is designed to be worn over the top of just a baselayer. The slim fit also helps cut down on unwanted excess fabric that may flap around in the wind.

Where does it fit in the layering system?

It has been designed as an active midlayer but can also be worn as a stand alone piece on the chilly but dry days. Thanks to it’s soft fleece fabrics it is incredibly comfortable to wear underneath a shell jacket.

Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest, the tape should be just below the arm pit and over the shoulder blades whilst horizontal to the floor.

2Waist

Measure around your natural waist as show in the diagram

3Inseam

Measure your inside leg from crotch to ankle blone keeping your leg straight: not as easy as it sounds, you could take a pair of trousers that you already own, that fit you well, and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.

4Sleeve

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
