What are the G2 Alpine Combi Mitts?
The Alpine Combi can either be used as a warm, protective mitt or a highly dexterous fingerless glove, making it a popular choice for climbers, alpinists, military users or even photographers.
What are they made of?
The outer of the mitt is made using a mixture of Gore-Tex® Infinium™ Windstopper™ and leather. Gore-Tex® Infinium™ Windstopper softshell provides breathable water resistant, windproof protection, while goatskin leather is used on the palm for increased abrasion resistance and grip. Finally, the inside of the mitt features a brushed tricot lining to add valuable warmth and comfort next to the skin.
What are their features?
Perhaps the most obvious feature to highlight is the fold-away cover that goes over your fingers! If you require greater dexterity, fold back the top half of the mitt and secure it in place with the hook and loop fastening. This keeps things neat and tidy whilst eliminating the chance of losing half the mitt.
An adjustable wrist closure allows you to adapt the fit to keep the heat in and the elements out, while finally, the webbing loops make for easy removal, so you're not faffing around trying to get them off when you're done.
