What are the Pinnacle Mitts?
The Pinnacle Mitts are durable, waterproof mittens with exceptionally warm synthetic insulation. They're designed to provide ample protection and comfort for challenging mountain days and work perfectly for activities like mountaineering and skiing.
What are they made of?
The outer of these mittens is made with Exolite 210, which is durable yet stretchy and soft to deliver sufficient dexterity and protection in rugged environments.
A Drilite® insert gives these mittens full waterproof functionality without compromising breathability and temperature regulation.
A Goatskin leather palm and Goatskin panels at the back of the hand increase longevity and reinforce high wear areas to ensure that these mittens last for years. This leather is soft and water resistant, enhancing weather protection further without feeling too bulky or stiff.
The back of the Pinnacle Mitts are insulated with recycled PrimaLoft™ Gold insulation, which is a synthetic insulation. Synthetic insulation comes with the added benefit of staying warm when wet, unlike down which loses all heat and loft. Synthetic insulation is also more durable, delivering reliability for adventures where you need it most.
What are their features?
These mittens feature a mountain fit and pre-curved thumbs for enhanced dexterity and freedom of movement. The fabric pile lining is incredibly soft and comfortable next to the skin, adding a little much-needed luxury to those tough mountain ascents.
The gauntlet design adds a little extra protection around the wrists, and a single-handed drawcord closure makes for easy adjustment.
Wrist tethers allow you to keep your gloves safe and attached at all times, however they can be removed if you'd prefer.
