The Windjammer Beanie is a knitted hat that offers windproof protection, thanks to the Gore-Tex® Windstopper™ lining. It's versatile and stylish, perfect for wearing casually day-to-day or outdoors, of course, on exposed mountain trails.
What is it made of?
The outer beanie uses a durable blend of certified mulesing-free merino wool and recycled polyester. The wool blend feels warm and lightweight, offering plenty of breathability to improve comfort during intense sessions.
Gore-Tex® Windstopper™ is used for the lining to offer complete windproof protection where you need it, without compromising weight and bulk. It helps prevent wind chill, which can hugely impact body temperature when exploring cold climates, yet is breathable enough to wick away moisture through the membrane effectively. Gore-Tex® Windstopper™ is also water resistant, so running into some showers when you're out on the hills will be no problem.
This product uses purely mulesing-free, traceable merino wool. If you're unsure, mulesing-free indicates this wool is ethically sourced and hasn't come from sheep who have endured painful or cruel processes as part of the wool's production.
