What are the ROC Lite Slim Pants?
They're lightweight, stretchy, slim-fitting outdoor trousers that offer excellent freedom of movement and comfort for climbing, scrambling, hiking and mountaineering in warmer climates.
What are they made from?
These trousers are made from a lightweight, stretchy, semi-recycled material comprising recycled polyamide and elastane. The fabric is smooth to the touch yet durable enough for climbing and scrambling in rocky environments.
Being recycled, of course, it is a more environmentally responsible alternative to virgin materials without compromising comfort or quality. The material is also bluesign® approved, meaning it's manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers and consumers. Bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.
What are their features?
The ROC Lite Slim Pants feature a soft, elasticated drawcord waistband that provides a secure, comfortable fit with ample breathing room for tackling challenging routes, while the articulated knees deliver flexibility around the joints.
Two front hand pockets, a rear welt pocket and a right-thigh zippered pocket, provide space for carrying small essentials such as energy gels, snacks, keys or a mobile phone. Convenient loops to the side and rear allow you to attach your chalk bag and conveniently hang them up to dry on a nearby tree should they get wet during a multi-day adventure.
The cut and seam lines of the trousers have been carefully designed to enhance movement and help relieve tension from vital areas, preventing any embarrassing trouser-splitting incidents. Their slim fit reduces excess material around the ankles to stop the trousers from snagging or getting caught whilst also allowing you to easily perform more precise footwork when tackling technical routes.
