What are the Skyline Pants?
The Skyline pants are warm, stretchy, durable trousers for winter walking, alpine climbing and general mountaineering use. The Schoeller softshell fabric with a brushed lining provides valuable warmth and comfort next to skin during cold outings.
What are they made of?
The majority of the trouser is made from Schoeller's 3XDRY softshell fabric. This advanced fabric is highly water repellent, dirt repellent and dries faster than conventional softshell fabrics thanks to its clever construction. At the same time, the inner of this fabric wicks away your sweat and pushes it to the outer where it can evaporate. Schoeller's Keprotec Kevlar is used for the insteps to add durable reinforcement - especially useful when using crampons.
What are the features?
Starting at the top, a microfleece lined waistband wicks away sweat and increases comfort, while an included belt allows you to fine tune the fit. Moving down, you've got two hand pockets which also double up as vents, an extra zipped security pocket inside the right hand pocket and a left hand bellowed thigh pocket. Finally, volume adjustable lower legs give you the freedom to use both mountaineering and general walking boots without sacrificing fit.
How do they fit?
The Skyline Pants feature a fairly straight, active cut with tonnes of articulation around the knees to prevent discomfort, even when wearing additional layers underneath.
