90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

What are the Firewall Mountain Pants?

They are highly packable and protective waterproof overtrousers designed to deflect the elements when hiking, hill walking, and mountaineering. With full-length side zips, they are quick and easy to pull on over chunky boots and crampons.

What are they made from?

The Firewall Mountain Pants use a three-layer Pertex® Shield construction, which is a highly breathable, waterproof fabric designed for use in the mountains when protection, weight and breathability are key. This three-layer construction combines a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane, robust 40D face fabric and a smooth lining made from recycled polyamide. The face fabric is finished with a PFC-Free DWR (durable water repellent) coating to encourage rain to bead off the trousers instead of soaking in, without the use of harmful forever chemicals.

Pertex® Shield delivers a hydrostatic head rating of 20,000mm and a breathability MVTR score of 20,000 g/m2/24hrs, meaning it offers great waterproof protection and breathability, making it suitable for various outdoor activities. The trousers feel soft and packable, making them ideal for stashing in your rucksack, just in case, without taking up heaps of space.

What are their features?

The trousers are created with a minimal feature set to keep their weight and pack size to a minimum. A lightweight, part-elasticated waistband keeps them securely in place without digging in and causing discomfort.

Articulation at the knees and a long-length gusset at the crotch provide ease of movement for various outdoor activities. The full-length, two-way YKK® AquaGuard® side zips make it easy to pop them on and off when the heavens open, even over chunky boots. The side zips feature triple pullers for flexible ventilation options, whilst the internal storm guards prevent water and wind from entering the trousers via the zips. Drawcord adjustments to the bottom hem allow you to tailor the fit around a variety of different footwear styles.

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
