What are the Torque Pants?
The Torque Pants are aimed squarely at technical mountain users as they are close-fitting to reduce weight and stretchy to allow full freedom of movement. The Torque Pants are packed with technical and useful features making them perfect for climbing, scrambling and all-round mountaineering in warm climates.
What are the Torque Pants made from?
Constructed from lightweight Matrix double weave stretch softshell fabric with 4-way stretch and a DWR coating. Matrix is a densely woven, non-membrane, nylon softshell fabric offering wind and water resistance and superb breathability making it perfect for more active mountain pursuits such as climbing and scrambling.
What are their features?
The Torque Pants feature a part elasticated waistband, articulated and reinforced knees, along with reinforced ankles with webbing loops at the hem so you can fit a cord to secure under your boots. The reinforcements have been put in place in the highest wear areas to ensure outstanding abrasion resistance. There are two YKK zipped, mesh-lined, hand pockets and 1 YKK zipped rear pocket, along with a YKK zip fly and double snap fastening. The Matrix fabric offers both wind and water resistance for when the weather turns for the worse but still allows for fantastic breathability, making these pants perfect for warm weather mountain use.
How do they fit?
The pants have a slim fit with knee articulation and a 4-way stretch. This allows for great freedom of movement without excess material getting in the way and flapping around when climbing.
