What are the Phantom Pants?
They're ultralight and packable waterproof shell trousers designed for reliable waterproof protection when moving fast in the mountains. Created from 2.5 layer Pertex® Shield technology, they weigh a mere 84g, making them a fantastic choice for those counting every gram.
What are they made from?
The Phantom Pants use an ultralight 7D 2.5 layer Pertex® Shield construction for highly breathable waterproof protection when you're moving fast in the mountains. This 2.5-layer material is constructed from an ultralight 7D face fabric made from recycled polyamide and a thin, waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane with a smooth backer for next-to-skin comfort. The face fabric is finished with a PFC-Free DWR (durable water repellent) coating to encourage rain to bead off the trousers instead of soaking in, without the use of harmful forever chemicals.
Pertex® Shield delivers a hydrostatic head rating of 20,000mm and a breathability MVTR score of 20,000 g/m2/24hrs, meaning the trousers offer excellent waterproof protection and breathability – perfect for fast-paced mountain missions when the weather's not playing ball.

Weighing a mere 84g the Phantom Pants have a concise, streamlined feature set, with only the essentials you need, keeping weight and bulk right down. They're created in a pull-on pant style with a part stretchy micro-elasticated waistband, which is comfortable across the midsection, whilst the internal drawcord helps you secure the perfect fit.
Ultralight taping to critical seams provides added durability and waterproof protection to key areas. The knees are pre-curved for unrestricted movement when running and making up ground quickly.
A part elasticated bottom hem allows you to tailor the fit around different footwear, whilst reflective branding helps increase your visibility to other road users in low light.
The trousers are finished with an ultralight integrated stuff sack, allowing them to take up minimal room in your backpack or running vest when not in use.
