What are the Banks GTX Boots?

What are they made of?
Upper: These boots use a combination of nubuck leather and suede to give a really soft and comfortable feel around the foot, whilst still offering plenty of support and structure where you need it most. These fabrics are super durable so you can get maximum wear out of the boot in rugged conditions.
Lining: The Gore-Tex® lining in the Banks GTX Boots guarantee reliable protection in wet conditions. Gore-Tex® technology features a waterproof membrane that feels light and breathable, to stop your feet from getting sad and soggy when exploring in wet weather - a regular occurrence here in the UK!
Sole: Vibram® soles are renowned for their dependable grip and longevity when it comes to tackling the outdoors, so slippery rock or wet mud is no problem. Hanwag has used a Vibram® Endurance Pro sole on these boots, which offers optimum stability thanks to its strategic tread design.
What are their features?

The Banks GTX has a larger forefoot to enhance walking comfort, giving the foot more space to swell on long distance treks and helping to prevent nasty blisters from cropping up.
There's a reinforced PU foam wedge built into the midsole of the boot, which also increases comfort and promotes shock absorption on harder surfaces.
Robust cast metal lace hooks will grip your laces and keep them secure on the go, keeping the laces feeling taut yet comfortable all day (when tied correctly, of course). Metal lace hooks are far more durable than plastic hooks or eyelets, making them a bonus for those who are looking for a boot they want to keep for years to come.
