What are the Trail Gaiters?
They're durable gaiters designed using robust materials to provide ample protection and reliability in wet and rugged conditions.
What are they made of?
These gaiters are constructed using three-layer Drilite® material with a 360D reinforced weave, which enhances durability. This increases their lifespan and makes them more suitable for use in rugged terrain.
Waterproof Drilite® fabric features a hydrophilic, monolithic polyurethane membrane that provides the ultimate wet weather protection whilst remaining lightweight and flexible. It combines years' of knowledge and experience gathered by Mountain Equipment to provide optimum performance for mountain use, whether trail running or alpine hiking.
Mountain Equipment also works with FairWear to ensure safe, ethical working conditions in their factories, helping to protect workers' rights and being considerate and responsible with their processes.
What are the features?
500D reinforcements, which are unbelievably strong, may I add, on the lower leg add extra robustness where needed most to ensure that these gaiters can endure wear in the most rugged terrain.
A close fit around the ankle helps to prevent any snow, mud, or water from seeping through.
The zipped front opening and press stud closure behind the storm flap makes it easy to put these gaiters on and don't hinder comfort or performance throughout the day.
A concealed drawcord adjuster at the rear helps you to get a precise fit with every wear. Plus, the adjustable and removable Hypalon underfoot strap and lace hooks help to keep these gaiters in place, so you don't have to worry about them sliding around or coming off.
