Insulation: Polartec® Alpha® is an active synthetic insulation developed for consistent warmth and optimum breathability. It was originally invented for the U.S Special Forces, so you know it works!
It uses air exchange technology for sustained comfort without adding excessive bulk that can easily weigh you down on mountain missions. Synthetic insulation is also beneficial over down in wet weather, as it doesn't lose its loft or warmth once it becomes damp - perfect for unpredictable UK conditions!
