What is the Arrow? The Arrow is a simple yet invaluable softshell pullover designed primarily for climbing, however, it'd work just as well for virtually any other outdoor activity you can think of, from trekking to scrambling and everything in between.
What is it made of?It's made using a double-weave softshell fabric designed to provide wind-resistance, water-resistance and abrasion-resistance with exceptional breathability, comfort and stretch. A soft inner fabric actively wicks away sweat when you're on the move and adds a little warmth for cold morning or higher altitude excursions.
What are its features? It features coverstitched seams to reduce chafing, especially when wearing a pack or climbing harness, a 1/4 length main zip which offers valuable ventilation, a napoleon chest pocket for your phone, keys, etc and some comfortable elasticated cuffs. Nice and simple, yet everything you need.
How does it fit?It features M.E's 'active fit', meaning it's slimmer than their regular fit garments to increase performance. The super-stretchy fabric means it won't feel restrictive, though.
Where does it fit in the layering system? The Arrow is primarily designed as an outer layer, however, it could be used under a hardshell in particularly foul weather or under an insulated jacket on a belay stop, for example.
