90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

For your convenience, follow here to the Royal Mail Returns Portal to arrange return postage for your items. Please use our warehouse returns address (Returns, Unit H&J, Moreton Business Park, Hereford, HR4 8DS) when completing the form.

Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What is the Borealis Alpine Hooded Jacket?

It's a streamlined and stripped-back softshell jacket geared up for alpine climbing, mountaineering, ski touring, trail running and hiking. Lightweight, wind-resistant and breathable, it regulates your temperature to keep you comfortable as you push your limits.

What is it made from?

The Borealis Alpine Hooded Jacket is created from single weave stretch nylon which is a super lightweight stretchy softshell fabric with fantastic freedom of movement for versatile use across the seasons.

Matrix™ is a specialised line of softshell fabrics selected by Rab for their unique performance qualities. Matrix™ single weave stretch nylon comprises polyamide and elastane and is wind-resistant, air-permeable and offers excellent levels of breathability. This comfortable material also provides UPF protection to shield your skin from sun exposure. It's also exceptionally light and stretchy, offering unhindered movement for climbing and scrambling in warm climates.

What are its features?

A low profile under the helmet hood provides light warmth and protection from the elements, while elastic binding to the edges creates a snug fit around the face. The Borealis features a simple YKK® front zip with a soft chin guard to avoid discomfort around the face or neck when fully zipped.

A single zipped chest pocket provides storage for essentials such as a mobile phone, energy gels or GPS device, whilst keeping them well out of the way of a climbing harness. This pocket also doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket so it doesn't take up much space in your pack when not in use.

Elasticated cuffs and a dual-sided adjustable bottom hem help trap warm air inside the jacket and keep cold winds out. The hem can be easily adjusted with one hand on the go, meaning you don't have to stop to faff with the hem if it's getting a bit blustery.

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

5Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
