What is the Front Proof Jacket?
It's a lightweight and breathable shell jacket ideal for various outdoor activities, from hiking in the mountains to walking the dog. What is it made from?
The Front Proof is created from soft and durable recycled polyester treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR (durable water repellent) which encourages the rain to bead off the fabric, enhancing the material's waterproof properties. This DWR is free from fluorinated chemicals that cause damage to the environment and is also bluesign® approved for some extra eco-credentials.
Underneath the face fabric, you will find Haglof's proprietary 3-layer PROOF™ membrane for reliable and breathable protection from the elements.
The Front Proof uses breathable fabrics for comfort during high-intensity activity. They help wick away moisture and help regulate your temperature as you work up a sweat.
What are its features?
A fully adjustable hood shields your face and neck from harsh wind and driving rain -a simple yet essential feature if you live in the UK. Although the hood is not helmet compatible, it still provides excellent protection.
Underarm zips allow you to easily control the jacket's ventilation and stay comfortable whilst on the move.
For storage, there are two zippered lower pockets and one chest pocket, ideal for keeping your phone, keys and trail snacks close to hand. The lower pockets also double as a cosy home for cold hands.
All the zips featured on this jacket are water repellent to help prevent rain from seeping through the fastenings when closed.
The chest pocket is on the right-hand side instead of the traditional left side to reduce any bulkiness caused by wearing multiple layers with zips on the same side.
Adjustable cuffs and a drawcord hem allows you to cinch the jacket in, creating a tighter silhouette and preventing heat from escaping through the bottom of the jacket or sleeves.
