What is the Vardag Pocket?
It's a small, simple crossbody bag designed for chilled days and short trips where you don't need to lug around a backpack full of kit or a handbag full of essentials.
What is it made of?
The Vardag Pocket is made using Fjallraven's own G1000® HeavyDuty Eco S material. G1000® HeavyDuty Eco S is like your standard G1000® on steroids, so to speak. The fabric comprises recycled polyester and organic cotton, giving you a more eco-friendly blend, and has a much smoother finish than standard Fjallraven materials, giving this pouch a more sophisticated, stylish finish.
It's designed to be extra tough, meaning this bag will survive heavy daily use without looking knackered after just a few months. It'll last you years to come and is also water resistant (although not completely waterproof), so you won't have to worry about things getting soaked inside when the weather's a bit naff.
If you want to make the bag even more weather resistant, you can do so with Fjallraven's Greenland Wax (purchased separately). Applying it to the material is simple and can be done almost anywhere! If you'd like to learn how, check out Ben's helpful guide by clicking here.
What are its features?
The overall design is slim and practical. The shoulder strap is adjustable, meaning you can make it as short or as long as you prefer.
There's a zippered main compartment with an inside key clip which does exactly what it says on the tin - clips to your keys to keep them safe and prevent them from falling out on the move.
You also have a small zippered security pocket in the bag, ideal for loose change, a wallet, a mobile phone or other small valuables, keeping them out of reach from pickpocketers when you're in the city.
