What is the Wickiup 3 Tent?
The Wickiup 3 is a spacious tipi-style tent that can easily sleep up to three people. Its lightweight, durable and aerodynamic design provides high stability even in tough conditions, making it suitable for use across all four seasons.
The adjustable central pole and high interior create a spacious and cosy place to call home for the night after a long day spent exploring. This tent's compact packing size makes it easily portable and perfect for all your camping, trekking and touring needs.
What is it made of?
Flysheet: The flysheet is made from a highly durable and waterproof Gorlyn 20D high tenacity ripstop 6.6 Nylon, which is silicone coated on both sides for higher tensile strength and added protection against UV damage.
Inner: The tent inner is made from 15D air-permeable ripstop Nylon. Its lightweight knitted mesh door maximises airflow, breathability and helps keep even the smallest insects out.
Floor: The tent floor is made from 40D ripstop Nylon with fire-retardant TPU laminate with taped seams. This sturdy tent base has a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm.
Pole: The single central pole is made from 19. 5mm anodised 6061 aluminium for an exceptionally lightweight and durable design, providing a stable frame for the Wickiup Tent in high winds.
What are its features?
Entry: There is a single wide entry with two well-placed door tie-backs to maximise the space and to stop the door from unrolling in the wind. The external zip features a double storm flap to protect the zip from wind-blown rain. The inner tent's entry point has dual zippers to allow easy access in and out.
Space: This tipi-style tent offers roomy living quarters with a high apex of 155cm. This spacious tent provides a welcome shelter for you and your friends to sleep safely on wet and windy nights.
This tent is constructed of two parts, an inner mesh tent and a waterproof outer tent. These can be set up independently for versatile use in different climates.
Ventilation: This tent offers excellent ventilation due to its high internal height and breathable mesh inner tent door. There are also three hooded peak vents at the top providing a chimney like effect to draw more airflow up the inside of the flysheet to help reduce condensation.
Guys, Attachments & Pegs: This tent is secured with 12 Y-shape twisted 16cm pegs. They are brightly coloured and have reflective pull cords making them easy to use. Made from strong and lightweight 7001 aluminium, they are best suited for firm soil in camping grounds, forests and mountainous areas.
The central pole is made from anodised 6061 aluminium for lightweight but highly durable and weather-resistant construction.
Additional extras: Add extra protection with the Bach Wickiup 3 Footprint, available to purchase separately. It adds 650g of weight to the kit and protects the tent's floor from rocks, sharp items, mud and water, extending the life of your tent.
