Fly:The rainfly of this tent is crafted from 100% recycled Osmo ripstop fabric with a hydrostatic head rating of 1,200 mm. Recycled means it's made from materials that would otherwise end up as waste—things, like used plastics and fabrics, are repurposed, reducing landfill impact and the need to create new, virgin materials.
This rainfly material works exceptionally well in the field. It offers four times longer-lasting water repellency than regular fabrics, so rain rolls right off and stretches 3x less when wet. This reduced stretch helps the tent keep its shape in rainy or humid conditions, meaning better protection and less sagging. The fabric's ripstop construction is also crucial for durability, preventing rips from forming and spreading.
