What is it made of?
Fly: The fly is constructed from Nemo's high-performance Osmo material. Osmo is made from 100% recycled polyester and nylon yarns. It repels water four times longer than standard tent fabrics, all while stretching three times less when wet. Fire retardancy is crucial for safety in outdoor gear, especially in situations where open flames or heat sources may be present, such as around campfires or stoves. What sets the Osmo fabrics apart is that they achieve this level of fire resistance without the need for added environmentally harmful chemicals.Additionally, the OSMO fabrics are treated with PFAS-free DWR. PFAS (per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances) are a group of human-made chemicals used in various industries, including outdoor gear manufacturing, for their water and stain-resistant properties. This fabric maintains its exceptional water-repellent qualities without relying on these potentially harmful chemicals.
