What are the Soloist Gloves?
The Soloist Gloves from Black Diamond are designed for harsh, cold conditions and feature an insulated inner wrapped in a waterproof shell for total protection.
What are they made of?
The Soloist Gloves are made in two parts — an insulated inner and a shell outer. The inner glove is insulated with PrimaLoft Gold to provide plenty of warmth. It features 170g on the rear of the hand and 133g on the palm, giving you additional dexterity where you need it most.
Moving to the outside of the glove, the shell uses a waterproof BD.dry membrane to keep your hands totally dry and protected. This outer shell features a reinforced goal leather palm to stand up to ropes, tools and technical terrain, while the rest of the outer is made using recycled fabrics, so you're getting a high-performance glove with the environmental credentials to match. You can even remove the inner entirely, allowing you to use either the inner or outer on their own.
What are their features?
A soft nose-wipe on the rear of the thumb does exactly what it says on the tin — allows you to wipe your nose! The inner glove has a soft fleece lining for additional comfort and a long gauntlet provides extra protection in cold, damp conditions. A drawcord seals the gloves up while climbing to prevent debris from entering.
