What are the Feline SL?
The Feline SL are Dynafit's answer to tackling technical mountain terrain and slippery trails at a fast pace, whether trail running, ultra-running or fastpacking. They're designed with an aggressive outsole unit with deep lugs for cutting through soft, muddy ground to provide maximum traction, helping you perform your best throughout your session.
What are they made of?
These shoes are built with a lightweight, durable upper that can withstand abrasion against rock and rough surfaces. They have an injection-moulded TPU toe cap, which helps to decrease stress and impact on the toes and forefoot.
The POMOCA outsole is made with Butylic compound rubber to provide better grip on rocks in both wet and dry conditions. It focuses on traction and gliding. A 'Gliding Path' allows the foot to unreel and roll smoothly while reducing deformation energy. The 'Traction Zone' on the outer edge performs on softer ground - deep 8mm lugs cut into surfaces like mud to almost grab hold of the surface, and keep you as stable as possible whilst moving fast.
What are their features?
The invisible lacing system is easy to use and lessens the bulk of traditional laces. It allows you to tighten the laces with a quick pull and then stuff them into the small pouch, aptly named a lacing cage, on the front of the tongue to keep them from coming undone as you run, so you won't have to worry about tripping over or dragging them in the mud en-route.
They have a reinforced toe box and heel counter to protect the ends of your feet from impact when hitting rocks and debris on uneven ground, making them the perfect off-road shoes for back country adventures and mountain running.
Like most running trainers, the Feline SL's have a low ankle that feels comfortable and gives you space to move around the ankle joints. Heel preloaders hold the heels in place and help push the toes further up, improving comfort, fit and preventing the foot from sliding around too much inside.
In terms of their looks, as you've probably already noticed, they generally have a streamlined, contemporary design - they don't only feel great, but look it too!
